“KAWS Tokyo First,” a large-scale exhibition that includes 150 works from pop creator KAWS as well as interactive experiences, increased reality, and also the artist’s non-public assortment, will start at Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo, Friday, July 16, 2021. To commemorate this event, editions like the UNIQLO “KAWS UT” assortment and Companion Keychains were released. It's been declared that extra highly-coveted products are sold out via lottery.

The thirteen raffle sale merchandise squares measure out there for registration beginning these days. Enclosed within the combined square measure are KAWS BE@RBRICKs in 100%, 400%, and 1000%, 2 340mm tall KAWS Family sets, and individual KAWS figures at around 280-290mm (400%). The square measure is priced from ¥24,200 to ¥82,500 (approximately $220 to $745).

To enter the raffle, exhibition price ticket holders should sign on before July 11, with results to be declared on July 15. For people who can’t build it, products eligible for the raffle will get on sale in restricted quantities at the KAWS capital of Japan's initial online store in July. KAWS, also known as Brian Donelly, is an American artist from New Jersey. He is known for his characters Companion and BFF. His characters resemble other famous characters like Mickey Mouse and Cookie Monster. 

He is also known to have a lot of collaborations like KAWS and Uniqlo. KAWS and Uniqlo have been working together since 2016, and in 2019 KAWS and Uniqlo partnership ended. KAWS’ collaboration with Uniqlo is way more affordable than its other products. Along with the partnership KAWS has released plushies, t-shirts, tote bags, and slippers. Through KAWS collaboration with Uniqlo, you could get your figurines for Rp300,000-Rp500,000. 

KAWS and Kanye West KAWS have done some art for music too. KAWS designed Kanye West’s 808s & Heartbreak vinyl back in 2008.  KAWS x MTV. In 2013, KAWS designed the MTV Mooman for the Video Music Award. Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, and more have snatched this trophy. 

And many more. KAWS also collaborated with SACAI to introduce a wearable art piece. ​​The collaboration was first unveiled in March as part of Sacai’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection, which featured the Japanese fashion label’s signature silhouettes remixed with a splash of color via KAWS’ vibrant artwork. The offerings of the “Wearable Art” collection span across ready-to-wear and accessories.

For the guys, the range includes jackets, cardigans, sweaters, and button-down shirts in abstract camouflage prints and colorful patchwork patterns. The same patterns can be seen across the women’s pieces, which include skirts, dresses, and sweaters. There’s also a line of unisex T-shirts and hoodies in black or white that are embroidered with the Sacai x KAWS logo.
