LINDT HOME OF CHOCOLATE ANTICIPATES 500,000 VISITORS BY 2022

One of Switzerland's most well-liked museums where attracts a sizable number of visitors from both within the country and internationally.

The Lindt House of Chocolate, which initially opened its doors in September 2020, welcomed 500,738 visitors in all of 2022, making it a great success.

A multimedia exhibition chronicles chocolate's extensive history, from cocoa cultivation to its 5,000-year history and the numerous significant Swiss chocolate pioneers, to modern production methods, the tallest free-standing chocolate fountain in the world, the largest Lindt Shop in the world, and the first Lindt Café in Switzerland.

The exhibition is housed in the imposing Lindt Home of Chocolate. In addition to all of this, guests can work with the Lindt Master Chocolatiers in the Chocolateria to create custom chocolate creations.

The museum also experienced a record year for its guided tours, with a total of 16,888 visitors who ranged from casual admirers to business professionals and were led through the exhibit by knowledgeable interpreters. This equates to more than 1,300 different guided tours, 410 of which were school groups that had the chance to learn everything there is to know about chocolate.

Not just from Switzerland, but also from other countries, there is a lot of interest in the Lindt House of Chocolate. Tourists are once again traveling abroad in greater numbers, and the museum has had a large number of visitors from the USA, Brazil, India, Europe, and other parts of the world.

The Lindt House of Chocolate team has been successful in turning us into the nation's most popular chocolate museum in just two years "explains Ernst Tanner, president of the board of the Lindt Chocolate Competence Foundation.
