The event takes place at the esteemed Yun Artified Community Art Center, nestled within the enchanting Katamaran Permai 3 Complex, Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta.

The grand opening ceremony, held on July 8th, 2023, was graced by the presence of Mr. Jaka Jang, President of the 21st Century International Korean Art Association, and Yince Djuwija, the founder and owner of Yun Artified Community Art Center. Also in attendance were Mr. Santo from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, serving as the Director of East Asia, and Mr. Kim Yong Woon, Director of KCCI (Korean Cultural Center Indonesia).
Yince Djuwija expressed the exceptional nature of this exhibition, as it primarily features the works of esteemed Indonesian artists. This program signifies a cultural exchange between Indonesian and international artists—a vital vision upheld by Yun Artified, aiming to continually showcase and promote Indonesian artists in the international art world. For this exhibition, Korea was chosen as the partnering country, and the artworks on display encompass a collection of modern art pieces contributed by participating artists.
The exhibition proudly showcases renowned Indonesian artists, including Sunaryo, Mangu Putra, Jemana Murti, Chusin Setiadikara, Ivan Sagita, Nasirun, Edi Sunaryo, Putu Sutawijaya, Erizal AS, and Indyra. Representing Korea, the participating artists include Jakajang (President of the 21st Century International Art Association), Lee Sang-Yong (Advisor, Korean Art Association), Kim Jong-Soo (Representative, Korea Painting Festival), Lee Byeong-Guk (Executive Vice President, Korean Art Association), Kim Soon-Ok (Director, Korea Institute of the Arts), and Kim Jong-Iy (Director, Korea Painting Festival).
Dr. Suwarno Wisetrotomo, the curator of this exhibition, emphasized the event as a platform and opportunity for open conversations and the exploration of various ideas, concepts, emotions, sensitivities, and the utilization of collaborative and cultural efforts.
The Yun Artified Community Art Center presents this exhibition to satisfy the curiosity of art enthusiasts and the general public, allowing them to experience the remarkable creations of Indonesian artists. Moreover, it serves as a means to raise awareness of the deserving artworks by Indonesian artists, granting them the recognition they deserve and ensuring their enduring appreciation by a wide audience.
In addition to the joint exhibition, both countries will collaborate in a painting session at the Mangrove PIK area in Jakarta. This activity will provide participating artists with a unique opportunity to gain diverse insights into their respective creative processes. It will also serve as a platform to explore the cultural background that influences their artwork.
