Indonesia’s digital procurement landscape is undergoing a major transformation—one that’s not only reshaping how the government buys goods and services but also driving economic inclusion, innovation, and supply chain resilience.

The numbers speak volumes: from Rp83.6 trillion in 2022 to Rp196.7 trillion in 2023, and Rp223.81 trillion in Q3 2024—the value of transactions through LKPP’s e-Catalog system has soared. This surge reflects more than digitization—it reveals a strategic pivot toward sustainable, transparent, and inclusive public spending.

At the center of this transformation is the upcoming Indonesia Catalogue Expo and Forum (ICEF) and Indonesia Procurement Forum & Expo (IPFE), which will join forces for the first time in a national-scale event on 30 July – 1 August 2025 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

e-Catalog V6: The Core of Procurement Innovation
One of the key highlights of ICEF-IPFE 2025 is Katalog Elektronik Versi 6 (V6)—the latest iteration of Indonesia’s digital procurement platform. With over 3.5 million products listed, including 2.9 million migrated items and 615,000 curated entries, V6 is positioned to be the backbone of the country’s procurement strategy starting January 2025.

More than just a listing platform, V6 integrates directly with national systems like SAKTI (Ministry of Finance) and SIPD RI (Ministry of Home Affairs)—creating a seamless, connected ecosystem for procurement that is faster, more accountable, and more accessible to local suppliers and MSMEs.

Still, challenges remain. These include the readiness of suppliers to migrate, digital literacy among local businesses, and the synchronization of systems across national and regional levels. ICEF-IPFE aims to be the solution space to address these issues and accelerate digital adoption across sectors.

A Showcase of Tech-Driven Solutions
ICEF-IPFE 2025 will span 2,700 m² of exhibition space, featuring hundreds of prominent local and global brands across diverse industries. Attendees can expect the latest in:

  • Information technology & software: Lenovo, Axioo
  • Electric vehicles: Wuling, BYD
  • Smart infrastructure: videotrons, smartboards, drones
  • Machinery & heavy equipment, furniture, healthcare, and more

With major banking institutions like BRI and Bank DKI onboard as transaction and financing partners, the event reinforces its role as a strategic marketplace for government-aligned procurement and innovation.

A Collaborative Push for Economic Growth
Organized by LKPP, in partnership with KADIN Indonesia and IAPI, ICEF-IPFE 2025 aims to bring together over 15,000 professional visitors from ministries, government agencies, SOEs, regional governments, and private enterprises.

The event’s theme, “Digitalisasi Pengadaan untuk Indonesia Emas: Inovasi, Kolaborasi, dan Keberlanjutan,” reflects its mission to build an inclusive procurement ecosystem that aligns with Indonesia’s long-term development goals toward Indonesia Emas 2045.

According to LKPP Head Hendrar Prihadi, ICEF-IPFE 2025 is a key moment to scale up MSME involvement and unlock the full economic potential of digital procurement. “This is not just a forum—it’s a shared solution space to accelerate national growth through digital transformation,” he said.

KADIN Chairman Anindya Bakrie emphasized the role of ICEF in boosting domestic industries and job creation, while IAPI’s Andi Zabur Rahman noted the importance of professional capacity-building in the procurement field.

Beyond an Expo: Building Capacity for the Future
ICEF-IPFE 2025 won’t be just a display of products—it will be a knowledge hub, offering:

  • Business matching sessions
  • Technical workshops & hands-on demos
  • Competency certifications
  • Deep-dive discussions on six national priorities: food security, industrialization, education, healthcare, digital tech, and infrastructure

According to Bambang Setiawan, CEO of PT Satu Tujuan Event, this year’s event is designed to be impactful and participatory, ensuring real outcomes for participants and stakeholders.

“We want this to be more than a procurement fair. It’s about creating real opportunities, encouraging collaboration, and enabling the national economy to thrive through digital excellence,” said Bambang.

TL;DR?
ICEF-IPFE 2025 is where procurement meets innovation. With e-Catalog V6, full system integration, and nationwide participation, this event is setting the stage for a smarter, more transparent, and more inclusive digital economy—powered by local suppliers and driven by data.

The future of public procurement is here—and it's digital, collaborative, and transformative.
