What is teqball? Maybe some of you are still unfamiliar with this. So, let us introduce you. It’s a new kind of football-based sport, which is ideally worthy for professional footballers as well as amateur enthusiasts. 

Invented by Hungarian ex-footballer, Gabor Borsanyi, the game was developed from his practicing football with friends using the concrete outdoor table tennis tables in Budapest. He added the curve to the table with his co-founders, Gyorgy Gattyan and Viktor Huszár, as they developed the sport with the “Teq” part of the name, coming from the technique needed to return the ball.

It's a non-contact sport, and according to the official rules, it is forbidden to touch the equipment itself, meaning the risk of injury is low. Not only as physical activity but teqball is also invented as an alternative way of practicing and developing skills needed for football players.
