Art Jakarta 2024 returned to JIExpo Kemayoran from October 4-6, and this year, Supermusic made an exciting contribution with its interactive booth, the ‘Super Art Box.’ Offering a variety of engaging activities and showcasing unique artworks, Super Art Box became a popular attraction throughout the three-day event.

Super Art Box featured stunning paintings from the Supermusic Superstar Art Winners, including Anomaly Broccoli, Antara Putra (Lenonx), Artaji, Laboer, Hilman Yousouf, and Arief Hadinata (Hokage). Visitors were captivated by these remarkable pieces, which celebrated the talents of these emerging artists. A standout highlight was the guitar sculpture, painted by Anomaly Broccoli, as well as a kinetic sound sculpture created by Bagus Panuntun.

The booth also featured LED displays showcasing other artworks, with detailed information available via interactive tablets. Visitors were encouraged to explore further, including the Smoking Lounge, where additional paintings by other Superstar Art winners such as Rijan Maulana, Bagus Panuntun, and Ikidiot were on display.

Engaging Activities at Super Art Box

Beyond the captivating artwork, Super Art Box kept visitors entertained with a variety of activities. These included the Super Word Search game, where attendees hunted for hidden words, and the Music Wall, which let visitors experience nostalgic tunes through old-school walkmans. Emoji Ball allowed participants to express their moods by throwing balls into emoji-marked baskets, while the Sticker Wall invited them to piece together art through numbered stickers. Each activity brought a unique element of fun and creativity, making the booth a lively stop for Art Jakarta attendees.

Superstars Art Talk Show on the Main Stage

On the second day of the event, Supermusic hosted a talk show featuring Superstar Art winners Andi Juhandi, Zein Arivin, and Alvian IR on the main stage of Art Jakarta. The session attracted a large crowd as the artists shared their personal journeys and experiences from participating in the Supermusic Superstar competition. Their stories were inspiring, offering a glimpse into the challenges and rewards of being an emerging artist. The artists also took the opportunity to discuss their latest works, one of which was presented and explained live on stage, impressing the audience with its creativity and depth.

Superstars’ Art Sold at Art Jakarta

One of the most exciting moments for Supermusic came when three Superstar Art pieces were sold during the fair. On the first day, a painting by Rijan Maulana found a buyer, and by the third day, Anomaly Broccoli’s painted guitar sculpture and Alvian IR’s digital print were also sold. It was a proud moment for the artists and Supermusic, celebrating their success at this prestigious event.

Super Art Box was a thrilling part of Art Jakarta 2024, and with more surprises promised next year, attendees are already eagerly awaiting the return of this dynamic booth. See you at next year’s event!
