HOLLAND AMERICA LINE TO UNVEIL THE WONDERS OF ALASKA IN PHOENIX TRAVEL SHOW EXTRAVAGANZA
Immerse Yourself in the Magic of Alaska: Holland America Line's Spectacular Phoenix Travel Show
In an exciting celebration of over 75 years of exploring the wild wonders of Alaska, Holland America Line is set to bring the magic of the Great Land to Phoenix, Arizona. The Alaska Cruise and Travel Show is slated for Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort and Villas, offering a day-long adventure from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free-to-attend expo is an immersive experience designed for Arizonans dreaming of an Alaska cruise vacation.
The event promises a thrilling display of all things Alaska, allowing attendees to meet the people who bring the region to life. From axe throwing and gold panning to live presentations and culinary demonstrations, the show will transport Phoenix residents into the heart of the Alaskan wilderness.
Bill Fletcher, Senior Director of Destination Marketing for Holland America Line, shared, "Our Alaska cruises are ranked number one for the most Alaska glacier, wildlife, and wilderness viewing opportunities. We're bringing our Alaska travel experts to Phoenix to connect with people who want to check this destination off their bucket list but aren't sure where to start."
The immersive activities include the chance to meet an Alaskan Lumberjack demonstrating axe throwing, try gold panning reminiscent of the Klondike Gold Rush, and indulge in the Alaskan experience of roasting marshmallows and making s'mores around a faux firepit. Culinary demos by Fleet Executive Chef Sinu Pillai will showcase fresh, sustainable Alaska seafood served on Holland America Line's Alaska cruises.
One of the highlights of the event is the opportunity to win one of six $500 Holland America Line gift cards or the grand prize of an Alaska cruise for two, making it an event not to be missed.
The show will also provide insights into Holland America Line's enrichment and entertainment programming, bringing Alaska on board through authentic experiences focusing on culture, cuisine, and adventures ashore. Attendees can learn more about Holland America Line's cruises to Alaska in 2024, featuring iconic glacier destinations such as Glacier Bay National Park, College Fjord, Dawes Glacier, Hubbard Glacier, and Twin Sawyer Glaciers of Tracy Arm.
