The Porsche Cayenne is the oldest known sports SUV model from the German manufacturer. Present since 2002, the Cayenne has set a new standard for premium SUVs for its rivals. Recently, Porsche updated the Cayenne variant by presenting the latest Cayenne Turbo GT.

Carrying the name Turbo GT, this latest Cayenne is more powerful than the standard model. Its four-liter Biturbo V8 engine produces up to 640 PS of power with a maximum torque of 850 Nm, providing outstanding driving characteristics, especially for everyday use.

The Cayenne Turbo GT can accelerate from rest to 100 km per hour in 3.3 seconds based on the fact sheet. The new engine allows the driver to go up to 300 km per hour. This capability increases by 14 km per hour and is 0.6 seconds faster than the standard variant.

Regarding the design, the Cayenne Turbo GT comes with sporty lines, typical of Porsche. The curve of the side body is reminiscent of the coupe sedan design with the ability to seat four. Porsche has also provided the latest chassis technology, fitted as standard with performance tires, the 22-inch Pirelli P Zero Corsa, which is tailor-made for this model. Braking duties are performed by the standard-compliant Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB).

The Cayenne Turbo GT is also 17 millimeters lower when compared to the Cayenne Turbo Coupe that was already present. This is thanks to the presence of a three-chamber air suspension which has increased stiffness by up to 15 percent. The suspension features of Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Power Steering Plus make controlling the Cayenne Turbo GT easier and more comfortable.

Another feature given to the latest Cayenne is the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) which maintains maximum car performance. The result is stable performance when cornering at high speeds. In addition, the Porsche Torque Vectoring feature is always ready to be activated when needed, especially in the racing arena.

It's still a matter of advanced features for driving because the engine increases to be more powerful; the Cayenne Turbo GT uses an eight-speed Quicker-shifting Tiptronic S transmission. The model that is ready to be invited to the race arena is given improvements in the engine shaft, turbocharger, fuel injection, and intercooler.

The Cayenne Turbo GT exhaust system uses a lightweight, heat-resistant titanium material. The system is made different from other models, starting from the center exhaust system to the rear silencer.

This latest Porsche model comes with a choice of Arctic Grey, a color specifically for this model. The exterior appearance is quite intimidating, with a sporty and wide body kit dominating. The carbon fiber material is found at several points, such as the front spoiler and rear diffuser, making the Cayenne Turbo GT have better downforce.

The interior side of the Turbo GT still emphasizes a sporty impression with increased comfort due to the use of Alcantara material on each side. Porsche gives a personal touch with the words "Turbo GT" on the headrests on the seats, which have eight settings for comfort. The latest Porsche Communication Management (PCM) feature has also been provided on this model, which allows the driver to connect personal gadgets to the car's entertainment system.

For Porsche lovers, the Cayenne Turbo GT can now be ordered at Porsche dealers in Indonesia. The unit will come around September 2021. Unfortunately, there is still no information about the price of this premium SUV. For comparison, prices in Germany start at 196,078 Euros, or around Rp3.3 billion.
