ARCHIPELAGO LAUNCHES POWERED BY ARCHIPELAGO
POWERED BY ARCHIPELAGO (PbA) offers a fully integrated solution to increase online visibility for accommodation providers.
Archipelago, Southeast Asia's largest privately owned and independent hotel management group, recently launched Powered by Archipelago - a product designed to empower independent hotels and hotel groups.
The group, managing more than 60 destinations with brands including ASTON, Collection by ASTON, The Alana, Huxley, Kamuela, Harper, Quest, NEO, favehotels, and Nordic, primarily focusing on key revenue-generating areas, such as hotel connectivity, distribution, and management income, aiming to enable these industry players to compete in a rapidly changing digital world.
"The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated the hospitality industry for the past two years, independent non-brand hotels and small hotel groups are feeling the impact because they have to fight for the small portion available in online and offline businesses," said John M. Flood as President & CEO Archipelago. "We came up with a solution that can help hotels with connectivity to various distribution platforms, optimizing booking potential and business revenue."
Operating over 150 hotels with a further 50 under development across Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East, Archipelago marks the launch of Powered by Archipelago in Indonesia with the signing of an agreement with the iconic Surabaya Suites Hotel in Surabaya.
"With this collaboration, Powered by Archipelago will provide support through many ways to get sources of income, complete analysis to maximize our potential, and the confidence to compete in this digital era," added Firman Permana, General Manager of Surabaya Suites Hotel.
The key features of Powered by Archipelago
Powered by Archipelago offers an all-inclusive plug-and-play solution that provides facilities such as channel manager, booking engine, rate shopping, rate parity checker and fixer, metasearch integrator, retargeting ads sniffer, and campaign performance analyzer.
All of these features help hotels turn connectivity into a revenue source and provide critical insights and strategic solutions that are focused, more efficient, and increase revenue. In addition, it also increases visibility by connecting the hotel to more than 30,000 agents worldwide.
For example, Maison Privee, Dubai's leading full-service apartment, and villa rental company, is leveraging Powered by Archipelago to increase its online presence and stay ahead of the competition. Furthermore, Rua Al Hijrah, a luxury hotel located only 80 meters from the Prophet's Mosque, believes that Powered by Archipelago has helped them a lot in socializing their services through various channels.
“Powered by Archipelago has helped our hotel optimize its connectivity to various distribution channels in a way we didn't expect,” said Mohammad Al Hamadi, General Manager of Rua Al Hijrah Hotel - Medina. "This has also eased the burden of negotiating with various online partners in terms of exposure and deals, as we have now entered as part of the giant Archipelago network."
