Tourism Western Australia has officially announced the launch of the second installment of the Drive the Dream campaign, a road-trip tourism initiative showcasing exciting adventures with Western Australian Formula 1 driver, Daniel Ricciardo.

The campaign, launched ahead of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, premiered on Tourism Western Australia's YouTube channel. Following its success in Australia and Singapore, this international campaign aims to captivate a global audience.

The second Drive the Dream series once again features Daniel Ricciardo and his friend, Blake Mills, as they explore the wonders of Western Australia. Their journey begins in Perth (Boorloo) and winds through the picturesque Margaret River region, continuing along the South West Nature and Wine Drive. Tourism Western Australia has employed a multi-channel media strategy to maximize visibility and engagement, leveraging Daniel Ricciardo’s fanbase and his appearances at prominent events like the Singapore Grand Prix.

To further enhance the campaign, Tourism Western Australia has partnered with prestigious international brands including Qantas Hotels and Holidays, Skyscanner, and C-Trips, aimed at boosting visits and bookings through the Drive the Dream initiative.

Stephanie Underwood, Acting Managing Director of Tourism Western Australia, emphasized that the campaign seeks to invite both domestic and international travelers to experience the beauty that Perth and the South West region have to offer.

"By showcasing a variety of unique experiences and attractions through this short film, we hope to inspire tourists, both local and international, to stay longer and explore Western Australia further," she stated.

"Projects like Walking on A Dream and campaigns such as Drive the Dream have played a significant role in revitalizing tourism in Western Australia and igniting the spirit of adventure in every traveler. We aim to continue this momentum with this campaign," Stephanie added.

The second series of Drive the Dream highlights Western Australia as a premier road-trip destination, connecting iconic locations and experiences across the region.
