The Lanesborough, a part of the prestigious Oetker Collection, is poised to captivate Londoners with the enchanting spirit of the festive season. The luxurious Regency residence will be beautifully adorned with Christmas décor, creating a magical atmosphere that promises unforgettable holiday experiences for guests of all ages.

As part of this year's Festive Program, The Lanesborough will host a special weekend of winter extravagance on the 2nd and 3rd of December. The grand ballroom in Belgravia will be transformed into "The Land of Snow" for a spectacular and magical Festive Afternoon Tea experience, presented in collaboration with Moriarty Events and Wildabout Flowers.

To set the scene, the ballroom's floor will be covered with white Gypsophila, creating the illusion of pristine snow. Pine Christmas trees will line the room, resembling a twinkling woodland, while white tables and chairs will immerse guests in a winter wonderland. The expertly crafted Afternoon Tea delicacies, prepared by the hotel's talented culinary team under the leadership of Head Pastry Chef Salvatore Mungiovino, will be a culinary delight.

Guests can savor a selection of finger sandwiches, including Roast turkey with chestnut stuffing and cranberry mayonnaise, beetroot-cured salmon with yoghurt dill and lemon zest, organic cucumber with sage cream cheese, truffled egg mayonnaise with watercress, and cornfed chicken, prune, and turkey pie. The sweet accompaniments will feature scones with cream and jam, along with a curated cake and sweet treat concept. The festive-themed cakes include "The Christmas Tree" with pistachio and Amarena cherry bavarois, "The Christmas Ball" with fig and plum delice, and "The Snowflake Cube" with hazelnut frangipane and bergamot and pear mousse. There's also "The White Chocolate Brownie Log" with blondie brownie cake, tonka mousse, and vanilla Chantilly.

Throughout the Afternoon Tea service, a string quartet will provide delightful live music. On Saturday, December 2nd, guests can enjoy a special ballet stage performance in partnership with the Sophie Adams Ballet Company, enhancing the tea experience. Four performances, featuring solos and group numbers, will bring beloved classics from "The Nutcracker" to life. These performances will include scenes like Clara and the Nutcracker, Dance of the Mirliton, Waltz of the Snowflakes, and the iconic Sugar Plum Fairy dance. To add to the magical atmosphere, children will be greeted by the Ice Queen and Jack Frost characters, who will narrate the ballet performances. This enchanting experience is brought to life by the award-winning Notorious Kids.

The Festive Afternoon Tea is priced at £120 per person for adults, which includes a glass of Champagne, and £75 per child on Saturday, December 2nd, for the Nutcracker ballet performances. Seating times are available at 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm.

On Sunday, December 3rd, the price is £105 per person for adults, which includes a glass of Champagne, and £65 per child. However, please note that there are no ballet performances on Sunday. Seating times are available at 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm.
