The Poland Festival 2023 (#PF23) has returned to Indonesia with a primary focus on economic, educational, and knowledge sectors. Organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in collaboration with the Polish Embassy in Jakarta, the Polish Business Club, and the Polish Tourism Organization, the event aims to highlight Poland's excellence through various activities, including exhibitions of Polish products, technology, science, and delightful cuisine presented by Polish chefs.

Jacek Kolomyjec, Head of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Jakarta, emphasized the festival's growth, stating, "Poland Festival has evolved into the largest promotional event for Poland held in Indonesia. Last year, we were present in four cities, and now we've expanded to five cities, including Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Surabaya, and Denpasar. We also have a special surprise in Lampung."

Poland, as one of the largest countries in Central Europe, offers a wealth of opportunities for trade and investment with Indonesia. Jacek Kolomyjec highlighted the significant potential Indonesia holds as a leader in Southeast Asia.

After kicking off in Bogor and Bandung, Poland Festival 2023 officially opened in Jakarta at GrandLucky Pantai Indah Kapuk on Saturday, November 11, 2023, and continued the following day at Grand Lucky, SCBD, South Jakarta. The festival has three main objectives: bringing quality products to Indonesian consumers, creating business opportunities for Indonesian importers and retailers, and raising awareness of Indonesia in Poland to encourage Polish entrepreneurs to invest.

The event also features Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands from Poland, including food, beverages, and cosmetics that can be sampled and purchased at discounts of 10-50% in select supermarkets across Indonesia. Visitors can also participate in Polish language classes and engage in various exciting activities.

Beata Stoczyńska, the Ambassador of Poland to Indonesia, expressed her hopes for strengthening business ties between Poland and Indonesia, as well as enhancing future trade exchanges.

"Poland Festival is the largest event aimed at promoting trade investment, our products, and Polish culture. Furthermore, the festival serves as a platform to introduce the tourism potential and encourage collaboration with the cultural richness that Poland possesses," said Ambassador Beata Stoczyńska during the opening press conference.

In conjunction with the 550th birthday celebration of Nicolaus Copernicus, Poland Festival 2023, in its fourth year, has organized various exciting events to be held in different cities. These include Science and Geology Day, Symposium Ed-tech and Science, Culinary Show, Art and Food Evening, and more.

Especially in Jakarta, on Sunday, November 12, 2023, Poland Festival commenced with the Copernicus Walk - Car Free Day from Bundaran HI to Grand Lucky SCBD, Sudirman. In collaboration with the Jakarta Provincial Government, this event is a must-attend as part of the special activities of Poland Festival 2023.

Over the past five years, Poland Festival has successfully raised public awareness of Poland and its products in ASEAN. Last year's program attracted over 200,000 visitors and significantly increased sales of Polish FMCG products. This success demonstrates the festival's effectiveness in promoting Polish culture, language, tourism, and FMCG brands in Indonesia.
