Bali’s Nuanu City is set to unveil a groundbreaking AI-art installation on September 28th. This innovative landmark, named the Tri Hita Karana Tower, will stand proudly at the heart of Bali’s new creative eco-city, offering stunning views over Nyanyi Beach and the hills of Tabanan City.

The Tri Hita Karana Tower, designed by the renowned London-based artist and architect Arthur Mamou-Mani, is the first permanent hybrid AI-Art installation in Bali. The tower, standing at 30 meters, is crafted from rattan and ironwood, materials that reflect the Balinese philosophy of harmony between people, nature, and the spiritual realms. The structure’s 108 steps invite visitors to ascend to its summit, where they can enjoy panoramic views of Bali’s southern coast.

Mamou-Mani, in an interview with Wallpaper Magazine, shared insights into the creation of the tower. “THK is my first permanent installation in Asia,” he explained. “A key part of the process was understanding the life cycle of every strip of rattan and ulin. Circularity was crucial to this project.” He emphasized that while the tower is a permanent feature, it is designed to be disassembled and evolved over time, celebrating rather than harming the environment.

The tower will feature an immersive exhibition by Delivered, known for their striking Earth Sentinels Media Sculpture at Nuanu City. Anastasiia Filatova, Co-founder and CEO of Delivered, elaborated on the installation, stating, “There are over 1,000 light fixtures installed throughout the tower, with 18 projectors housed in 12 mini towers. The custom sound system and climate control box enhance the experience, brought to life in an 11-minute light and sound show.”

The Tri Hita Karana Tower’s launch event, set for 7:30 pm on September 28th, will be a vibrant celebration. The free entry event will feature eight unique interactive installations at Aurora Media Park, live DJs, and music performances, promising a magical evening for all attendees.

Nuanu City, spanning 44 hectares on the Tabanan Coast, is a pioneering development committed to harmonious living. It integrates education, art, culture, wellness, and nature-inspired living into a seamless ecosystem. Visitors can also explore the Luna Beach Club, which overlooks Pantai Nyanyi and hosts various events, including the anticipated Lost in Paradise Festival on September 21st-22nd, featuring international and local DJs.

With its blend of art, technology, and sustainability, Nuanu City continues to set new standards for the future of urban living and creative expression in Bali.
