Bentley has just introduced the new Flying Spur Hybrid Odyssean Edition. This limited-edition car takes inspiration from the EXP 100 GT concept that defines Bentley's thinking about premium mobility in 2035. This hybrid model will be the first step in introducing new environmentally friendly materials as part of Bentley's Beyond100 strategy.

The Flying Spur Hybrid Odyssean Edition offers advanced technology in the power train capable of generating power up to 536 HP and 750 Nm of torque from a combination of conventional engines and electric motors. Not only that, the whole new material is more sustainable throughout the cabin.

The cabin features beautifully crafted tweed panels made from 100% British wool, blending a mix of tonal colors into bespoke yarns to create a luxurious natural textile unique especially to the Bentley.

A sustainability-focused product means Bentley also uses 90 percent less varnish and allows for the wood's natural surface texture and aesthetics to be enjoyed. Selected from only the best, most stock available, the open pore veneer is painted in just three layers of ultra-thin lacquer, together with a thickness of just 0.1mm.

The interior gets new depth with the use of tri-tone leather. This eco-leather material is used throughout the cab and promises long-lasting durability.

Accents on the interior are in a soft and warm leather called Autumn. Customers can choose from five specifications using Beluga, Porpoise, Cricket Ball, Brunel, or Burnt Oak leather along with a modern, lightweight Linen leather. The unique Odyssean Edition tread plate becomes apparent as you enter or exit the car and is matched by the exterior D-pillar badge.

Similar to the ombré finish seen in the EXP 100 GT interior, an exclusive new embroidery style allows thread colors to blend seamlessly with each other across the width of each seat, defining and accentuating the Flying Spur's unique "diamond" pattern – together creating the effect unique used here by Bentley for the first time.

For the exterior, Pale Brodgar accents painted on the 21-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels and lower bright ware (front and rear bumpers, headlights, and taillights surround and chrome underbody) give it a uniquely calm character. A curated exterior palette of six colors has been recommended to match Pale Brodgar accents. However, consumers can still choose from Bentley's collection of colors.

The presence of the Flying Spur Odyssean Hybrid is a research area to understand the use of Bentley hybrid owners in detail. The research results on users of the first generation Bentayga Hybrid model, consumers use the car every day or several times a week. Bentley hybrid owners, almost 100 percent, use EV mode, with half of them traveling less than 50 kilometers.

In real-world terms, this means that most trips, whether work or school trips are achievable primarily while producing zero emissions.

The Flying Spur Hybrid Odyssean Edition shows that hybridization doesn't detract from luxury or performance. With a superb blend of internal combustion engine and electric motor, smooth tranquility is offered regardless of driving mode or style.

The new powertrain combines a 2.9-liter V6 petrol engine with an advanced electric motor. With high power reserves, superior torque, and fast throttle response, the new hybrid model gives the Flying Spur V8 a slight edge in acceleration, passing 100 km per hour from rest in 4.3 seconds. The Flying Spur Odyssean can cover a distance of more than 700 km on full fuel.
