Reku, a leading crypto investment application in Indonesia supported by AC Ventures, has officially announced its latest expansion with the launch of US Stocks. Investors can now invest in the American stock market starting from just $1 through the registered and regulated application.

Jesse Choi, Co-CEO of Reku, stated, “After successfully providing access to global asset classes through cryptocurrencies since 2018, with over 1 million investors, we are committed to addressing the public's investment needs through US Stocks, given the significant potential of this instrument.”

Historically, US Stocks have shown an average annual growth of 12% over the past 100 years and 15% over the last decade. “This highlights the enormous prospects of US Stocks as an investment alternative for the public. We hope that with a wider range of investment options, we can encourage better investing habits,” Jesse added.

Reku has partnered with Pasar FX, an Indonesian futures brokerage firm, to support US stock transactions. Pasar FX collaborates with Alpaca Securities LLC, a broker registered with the SEC and FINRA, to facilitate direct transactions on the NYSE and NASDAQ.

Stock transactions on Reku are conducted through the Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) and are guaranteed by KBI, allowing users to transparently monitor their stock ownership.

Comprehensive Features for Investors

In light of the uncertainties in the global economy, Reku recognizes the importance of investment education for the public. “We provide the most comprehensive US Stocks features, developed based on discussions with investors to meet their specific needs,” said Jesse.

Innovative features include Insights, which help investors quickly understand companies. Through historical data analysis and market patterns, this feature presents crucial information such as Buzz Score and Return Score to guide investment decisions.

Reku also introduces the Packs feature, making it easier for investors to invest in curated groups of stocks, as well as offering Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) for asset diversification. “With ETFs, investors can access multiple stocks simultaneously, reducing investment risk,” Jesse explained.

To facilitate performance tracking, Reku offers Portfolio Analysis, which helps users monitor the progress of their portfolios, including both US Stocks and crypto assets.

Flexible Trading Hours

While US Stocks are typically traded for 6.5 hours a day, Reku provides additional trading hours for Indonesian investors, extending trading opportunities to 16 hours. “This allows investors to place pending orders that will be executed as soon as the market opens,” Jesse noted.

Despite the introduction of US Stocks, Jesse emphasized that crypto assets remain a priority. “We are committed to advancing the crypto industry in Indonesia and applying lessons learned from the success of this service to offer US Stocks,” he added.

Looking ahead, Reku plans to continue expanding its investment services in global asset classes. “In the first half of 2024, we grew more than threefold compared to last year.
