But before that, who is Paddy Hopkirk? Patrick "Paddy" Hopkirk is a rally driver from Northern Ireland. When he was 30 years old or in 1964, Hopkirk took part in the legendary Monte Carlo rally race using the Mini Cooper S. He used the starting number 37. Long story short, Hopkirk won the race. His car became the Mini Cooper with the most famous identity to date.

In terms of engine, it still uses the same engine in the standard Cooper S 5-doors. The 1998 cc four-cylinder engine with Mini TwinPower Turbo Technology can produce up to 192 HP at 5,000 to 6,000 rpm. This engine also delivers a maximum torque of 280 Nm at 1,350 to 4,200 rpm.

Mini noted that this machine could accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in 6.8 seconds. The maximum speed that the driver can achieve is 235 km per hour. A special note for a car that is usually used for daily use.

The most special is present in the details surrounding this special edition Mini. The exterior uses the iconic color and style of the Hopkirk rally car, which is red with a red stripe on the hood. These 17 wheels, John Cooper Works in Track Spoke Black design, make the Mini Hopkirk look sportier. Other details are the radiator grille, lower air intake, door handles, fuel filler cap, Mini logo on the front and rear, and around the front and rear lights using a black-gloss finish.

A strip of the white bonnet on the left side of the hood bears the signature of the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally winner. In addition, the famous 33 EJB number and letter combination of the 1964 Monte Carlo winning car's license plate is displayed on the hood strip using a 3D effect graphic.

The signature Paddy Hopkirk also appears on the interior trim strip on the passenger side, part of the interior surface in a high-gloss Piano Black color.
