The Cannes Yachting Festival is one of the events this year that should be watched by boat fans. Various shipbuilding companies are planning to introduce new products for the first time to the general public.

One of them is the Ferretti Group, which plans to introduce four world premiere models at this annual event. The event (from September 7 to 12, 2021) is the best place to introduce the Ferretti Yachts 1000.

The four models that will be introduced include the Riva 76 Perseo Super, Riva 68 Diable, Pershing 6X, and Wally WHY200. Before the event, Ferretti will hold a Private Preview for their clients.

The first ship to be introduced was the Riva 76 Perseo Super. As the name suggests, this ship measures 76 feet (23 meters). The ship, designed by Officina Italiana Design Founder Mauro Micheli, provides 40 square meters of space from his superstructure.

In keeping with the tradition of the Riva model, this ship will use mahogany and stainless steel, which can be seen throughout the boat. The cockpit is spacious with enough dining area for six people. Sofas are present on both sides of the upper deck.

Riva 76 also has a place to sunbathe and enjoy the sun; the area is about 4 square meters. There are three guest suites on the lower deck that can be added to four rooms and an optional gallery and small lounge.

The next model is the Riva 68 Diable. The model, which was just introduced last July, takes inspiration from the previous Diable model, which actually uses the hull design of the American Riva Super.

This ship is part of the Group Open range and was also designed by Micheli. The roof uses a hard guard to provide shelter in the dining area and helmet station.

The cockpit uses two large sun pads. The lower deck is a social setting featuring a shared kitchen and dining area and three guest cabins.

The third model is the Pershing 6X. The updated model comes with a large rear sun pad, a carbon and teak table in the cockpit, a reclining chair with a reclining back, and a rectangular peephole resembling a window. Along with these new elements, the 6X comes with two 19-inch monitors, a carbon fiber control panel, and an electro-hydraulic steering system.

This ship uses two MAN V12 engines with a power of 1,550 hp which can go up to 48 knots. This model measures 63 feet (18.8 meters) long and is the second smallest model in the Pershing model.

The last ship is the Wally WHY200. This large-dimensional yacht offers a living space of 200 square meters with 144 square meters of outdoor area. Ferretti Group revealed that the latest WHY200 provides 50 percent of living space compared to traditional yacht models.

The overall length of WHY200 stands at 88 feet 9 inches with a sub-24 meters load line length. Fold-out wings expand the beach club area giving access to the sea on three sides, and two concealed garages stow numerous water toys and a big tender.
