ART JAKARTA 2022: ENJOYING THE ARTWORK FROM PAINTINGS TO SCULPTURES
Art Jakarta 2022 finally reopened on Friday, 26 August. More than 1,600 works filled the Jakarta Conventions Center (JCC) Hall in Senayan from 26 to 28 August and attracted more than 32,000 visitors.
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Art Jakarta 2022 finally reopened on Friday, 26 August. This art exhibition was held on a large scale and attracted more than 32,000 visitors.
The exhibition, held for three consecutive days, collaborated with more than 500 artists by displaying various types of art and presenting them in various fields, from paintings, ceramics, and sculptures, to other 3-dimensional works of art. More than 1,600 works filled the Jakarta Conventions Center (JCC) Hall in Senayan from 26 to 28 August.
The exhibition, held for three days, presented many unique works of art, one of which was the exhibition presented by the ARTOTEL Group. The stand, which carries the name “Wall of a Kind,” is a space for children with special needs to display their works expressed in paintings.
There are 27 collections of paintings from 27 children with special needs that can be purchased with prices starting from IDR 500,000 per painting. Proceeds from the sale of this painting will be donated directly to MATALESOGE Special Needs Services as a support for children with special needs.
While enjoying the artwork accompanied by explanations from the curators, visitors can also participate in the activities held at each art installation.
