Triple Belgium Chocolate with Chocolate Ganache was created by Debbie Wingham for a birthday cum engagement party for the daughter of an unnamed Arab Couple. The cake stood 6 feet tall and weighed 1000 pounds. It was made not just of chocolate but 4000 pink, yellow, black, and white diamonds.

 

Dimuthu Kumarasinghe Pirates Fantasy Cake – $35 million

Every layer of the cake boasts a different flavor, each of which is made using some of the most exotic ingredients such as cinnamon, zucchini, purple yam, coconut chips as well as pistachio, rosemary, almond cookies, white chocolate, coconut meringue, baked cheese, sweet wineberry, pineapple, walnut, pumpkin, and lemon. Let’s don’t forget this ten-layered cake is adorned with the most expensive and the rarest one being a “Padmaraja” or the ‘King Sapphire” and ten pieces of jewellery ranging from necklaces, bracelets, rings, brooches pendants, tie pins, cuff links to nose rings and toe rings.

 

Fiona Cairns Royal Cake for Princess Kate – $78,000

 

Royal wedding cakes have always come with an impressive price tag, but Kate and Will's have to take the biscuit... or should that be Victoria sponge? The exact cost of Kate and Will's cake remains undisclosed, however, we're sure it cost a pretty penny! The masterpiece was put together by celebrity cake maker Fiona Cairns, and it took her five weeks to create. The finished product had 8 tiers, 17 individual fruit cakes, and 900 sugar paste flowers. Lucky it was so big - it served 650 hungry wedding guests.

 

The Faberge Egg –  $35,000

 

British diamond merchant Carl Weininger brought a cake for his 60th birthday celebration shaped as a Faberge Egg. The cake has several layers, including champagne jelly, biscuit joconde, and dark chocolate. It also includes gold leaves that can be eaten and the small surprise that is supposed to be in the center of the egg along with a two-carat diamond that is on top of a chocolate flower on the top of the cake. It is said that The Faberge Egg was created for the Russian Imperial family.

 

Donald Trump and Melania Knauss’ Grand Wedding Cake – $50,000

 

The stunning cake — a five-foot-high, seven-tier orange chiffon with a light Grand Marnier buttercream filling! It was decorated with roses and buttercream. It took two months to create the cake, which was designed by Cedric Barberet.
