Today is a National Father’s Day! Well, you must be thinking about the gift you want to give to your father, right? Have you ever heard that 'time is the greatest gift you can give to anybody?

If your dad is a moviegoer, why don't you spend your time with your dad by watching some wonderful movies? Here are the best Father's Day movies to watch with your beloved dad. 

Finding Nemo (2003)

Is your father a fan of animated films? Finding Nemo could be a suitable movie for him. Especially, it is a movie where a dad gets to be the hero! Marlon, the clownfish, has to learn not to be so over-protective of his son, a lesson many fathers out there might need to take to heart.

 

The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)

 

The Pursuit of Happyness follows a struggling salesman who takes custody of his son as he’s poised to begin a life-changing professional career. There are many heartwarming and motivating scenes in this movie.

 

Taken (2008)

Does your dad love action movies? Taken would be a perfect movie for him to watch together with you. If there were an award for "Daddest Movie Ever," the winner would be this movie, where Liam Neeson plays a father with "a very particular set of skills." When his daughter is kidnapped while on vacation, he goes on a bloody path of revenge, vowing to get her back.

 

Sabtu Bersama Bapak (2016)

Gunawan (Abimana Aryasatya), a husband who only has one year to live due to a serious illness. He made many recordings containing a father's advice to his son and stories that Gunawan wanted to share with him. After Gunawan passed away, his wife, Itje (Ira Wibowo), told her two children to 'meet' the father once a week every Saturday by watching the recordings.

 

Miracle In Cell No. 7 (2022)

 

Miracle In Cell No. 7 is a Korean movie adapted in many countries, including Indonesia. Dodo Rozak (Vino G Bastian) is a man who wants to be the best father for his daughter, Kartika (Graciella Abigail). He has a special condition, so he thinks and acts like a child. However, Dodo and Kartika love each other.

Unlucky for Dodo, he was accused of being a rapist and murderer. To be precise, he was put in prison in cell number 7. This is where various stories with the prisoners were poured out, ranging from sadness to when the prisoners helped Kartika meet her father in the cell.
