CELEBRATING HERSHEY'S NEW CHOCOLATE BAR FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS WORLDWIDE
Hershey highlights SHE's limited-edition chocolate bars to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8
Headquartered in Pennsylvania, Hershey is an industry-leading snacks company known for more than 90 brands around the world which drives more than $8 billion in revenues annually. Products include Hershey's, Reese's, Kit Kat®, Jolly Rancher, Ice Breakers, SkinnyPop, and Pirate's Booty.
Hershey's Chocolate Brand, most known for the yummy Hershey's Kisses, launched a new product of its new limited-edition "Celebrating SHE" chocolate bars intended to celebrate inspiring women and girls all over the world. Though the chocolate bars are spread nationwide in the USA, Indonesian can actually be involved in this campaign.
International Women's Day will be marked on March 8 where Veronica Villasenor, Vice President of The Hershey Company in the USA declared that it should be the day to remind all the people worldwide of the inspiring women and girls in their surroundings.
Celebrating SHE chocolate bars
Hershey's company was founded by Milton Hershey who created the Milton Hershey School in 1909 and focused on helping children succeed. Until now, Hershey's endurance of success is its original goal, helping children thrive. Hershey is committed to equal pay and career development for its employees, including women.
Named #1 on the World's Top Female-Friendly Companies list by Forbes in 2021, Hershey is among the companies that are run by women, including Alyssa Smith, brand manager of the company who is thrilled to be part of the campaign.
"But I hope the Celebrate SHE Campaign will raise awareness, drive conversations around recognizing the women in our lives, and spark celebrations," said Alyssa.
The "powerful and colorful change to (Hershey's) iconic milk chocolate bar serves as a reminder of how important (women and girls) are in our lives". Spread nationwide in Hershey's USA locations ((Hershey, PA, New York City Times Square, and Las Vegas), the first 1,000 visitors will receive the limited-edition SHE chocolate bars, while supplies last.
The campaign
Currently, Hershey has partnered up with Girls on the Run, a nonprofit organization with a mission focused on supporting, empowering, and inspiring girls to realize their limitless potential. With this new trust, Hershey donated $150,000 to Girls on the Run.
Anyone from all over the world can also get involved with this campaign. Sharing a photo and story of a woman or girl on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #CelebrateSHE could help this campaign reach to a wider audience. Hershey's itself will repost some of these stories on social channels throughout the entire month of March, in recognition of Women's History Month.
From grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, cousins, friends, neighbors, mentors, coaches, and co-workers, to the barista who handles orders correctly, the Hershey brand encourages consumers to participate in this campaign.
