The Oscars 2022 held on Sunday (27/3) was the first time in over a decade that we saw Beyonce take the stage of the awarding ceremony. The 40-year-old singer has successfully amazed the live and television audience by performing  Be Alive in the most unique way possible.

The song is the original soundtrack of King Richard movie, the biopic of tennis superstars Serena and Venus Williams, and the role of their father, Richard Williams. Beyonce came out in a neon-bright outfit resembling the color of a tennis ball, along with the entire dancers dressed up in the same tone.

The Be Alive performance was so in the concept that it took a stage at the tennis court in Compton, California, where Serena and Venus Williams once practiced. The Williams sisters also gave the lead-up introduction to Beyonce’s majestic performance.

The public then got even more hyped after realizing that Beyonce had brought along her daughter Blue Ivy Carter in the performance, as the 10-year-old was spotted as one of the dancers.

Many of Beyonce's fans were in awe after noticing how Blue Ivy has grown up since the last time fans saw her. "Did y’all spot Blue?!? She’s really all grown up," said a fan on Twitter. "Blue Ivy is the coolest person alive," commented another.

The last time the public had eyes on Blue Ivy was a couple of weeks ago when she had a recreation with her famous rapper dad, Jay-Z, along with Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin and actress Dakota Johnson at Disneyland.

Afterward, the girl had also appeared on-screen with her mother Beyonce in an advertisement for the Icy Park capsule collection last February.

King Richard, and Will Smith’s first-ever Oscar

All of Oscar's 2022 best moments have gone in many ways, especially in the movie King Richard. Aside from having a tribute through Beyonce’s performance, the 2021 biopic set its record in the Academy Awards after its leading actor Will Smith won the Best Actor.

Starring in the movie as Richard Williams himself, Smith had made the turning point of his acting career with his first-ever Oscar in hand. The 53-year-old actor got on to the stage for the second time during the night. The first one was when he slapped Chris Rock due to an offensive joke and the second was to give his emotional acceptance speech.

"I look like the crazy father, just like they said about Richard Williams. But love will make you do crazy things," Smith delivered as he shed his tears.

In the race for the Best Actor, Smith had contenders of nominees in the likes of Andrew Garfield, Benedict Cumberbatch, Denzel Washington, and Javier Bardem.
