Scheduled to take place at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, from 19 to 21 January 2024, with a VIP Preview on 18 January, ART SG aims to build on the success of its debut in January 2023.
The inaugural edition of ART SG, which attracted 43,000 visitors, was hailed as a groundbreaking moment for the art scene in Singapore and Southeast Asia. With a focus on Singapore as a burgeoning cultural capital, ART SG showcased leading galleries from the region and around the world, setting the stage for a new chapter in the local art landscape.

ART SG 2024 will once again host world-renowned galleries such as Gagosian, White Cube, Thaddaeus Ropac, Lehmann Maupin, and many more, showcasing the robust collecting base and potential in the region. The fair will also welcome 38 new exhibitors, including Kaikai Kiki Gallery, Asia Art Center, TARO NASU, Sabrina Amrani, and others, highlighting the continued interest from international galleries in engaging with Singapore and the Southeast Asian region.

The 2024 edition will feature an impressive lineup of Southeast Asian galleries, including Yavuz Gallery, Richard Koh Fine Art, Mizuma Gallery, and Sullivan + Strumpf, along with first-time participants like BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY, Nadi Gallery, and Wei-Ling Gallery. This emphasis on Southeast Asian art underlines Singapore's role as a gateway to the rich artistic ecosystem of the region.
Singapore's Flourishing Art Scene
Singapore's vibrant visual art scene, characterized by innovation and diversity, serves as a significant platform and gateway to Southeast Asia's rich artistic landscape. The city's world-class museums, galleries, and cultural institutions, combined with its strategic location and excellent infrastructure, make it an ideal destination for the art market to thrive.
Impact on City-wide Programming
As ART SG enters its second year, its impact on the city-wide programming becomes evident, fostering ideas, relationships, and thought leadership. Collector-driven initiatives play a crucial role in increasing visibility and support for contemporary art, with private collection and foundation exhibitions planned for January 2024.
