Imagine that you are planning to sign an essential contract for your multi-million dollar work. What will you wear that day?

At least that's what we can imagine in the figure of Lionel Messi when he arrived in Paris some time ago. Messi, who has played for Barcelona for 21 years, had to accept that he couldn't play for his beloved club and chose to stay at Paris Saint Germain.

This biggest player transfer saga has caught the attention of many people, including watch fans who are curious about what Messi wore on this historic day.

Through several photos spread on social media, Messi is seen choosing to use a relatively simple clock for the size of a football megastar. The watch he wears is a Rolex Yacht-Master Oyster Perpetual ref.126655.

The design of this watch looks sporty but also elegant. Something fitting to sign a work contract at another club, other than Barcelona's love club.

The specifications of this watch use a 40 mm Oyster model shell in a color that Rolex calls Everose Gold. It's made of 18 ct gold with a solid black dial combined with Chromalight detailing that glows blue for easy reading of the dial.

This watch is made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date indication. As a sports watch, the Yacht-Master is water-resistant up to 100 meters with an Oysterflex strap with Oysterlock safety.

This clock uses the latest generation 3225 automatic movement, which has 70 hours of power reserve. The bezel features a bidirectional rotatable 60-minute graduation with polished and embossed numbers visible against a matt background. The function of this ring allows the wearer to calculate, for example, the sailing time between two buoys and is a significant component of the watch's visual identity.

The Yacht-Master model is not rare. This clock is sold at a price range of $27,300 or around Rp 392 million. Something relatively small for Messi, who has just signed a contract worth $40 million a year.

The news of Messi's move to PSG in the biggest sporting news of the year, perhaps more so than the Tokyo Olympics. Hundreds of millions of people witnessed the captain's departure from the Catalan club in a tearful farewell amid a contract stalemate and La Liga's financial regulations.

Messi then decided to join PSG, who had been close to him for a long time. Messi will meet his old Barcelona partner Neymar and compatriot Angel di Maria. In addition, he will also play alongside his former nemesis at Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos, who recently arrived at PSG.

PSG is considered to have made an extraordinary transfer this summer. On free transfers, the Paris club signed Lionel Messi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos, and Gianluigi Donnarumma. Something astonishing for the king of the French league considering all four was big names at the previous club and became key players in winning the title.
