Sule once again achieved another reward as a favorite comedian at the Indonesian Comedy Awards 2022. Although he has won several favorite comedian awards from his past career, he admitted that he did not expect to receive the award.

"I did not expect to get the award. Because now, I have nothing to lose, (but) most important thing (is to) entertain the public. (It) turns out, I won," said Sule on the Youtube channel, STARPRO Indonesia on Wednesday. 

In front of the audience, he received the award and thanked his supporters.

"Thank you to Allah SWT, to my mother, to my wife and children, (and) to the seniors. It is because of them that I received this Joker (trophy)," said Sule on stage. 

The comedian is currently married to Nathalie Holscher. He is the father of Rizky Febian Adriansyah Sutisna, Putri Delina Andriany Sutisna, Rizwan Fadilah Adriansyah Sutisna, and Ferdinan Adriansyah Sutisna. Sule won the favorite comedian award among several other nominees like Komeng, Wendi Cagur, Cak Lontong, and Rina Nose. 

"Alhamdulillah, now I am trusted as a (favorite) comedian," Sule said. Sule admitted that the success means that he is now more responsive to his fans. 

Not his first time
Previously, the 45-year-old comedian won the 2011 and 2012 Panasonic Gobel Awards. Aside from that, Sule also won the 2011 and 2012 Favorite Comedian Nickelodeon Indonesia Kids' Choice Awards. Throughout his career, Sule also went into the presenter and acting world. 

In 2012, he starred in "Sule, Ay Need You." In the following year, he played a role as Sule in "Sule Detektif Tokek." One of his most recent acting careers was in the movie entitled "Arwah Kuntilanak Duyung," as well as "Hongkong Kasarung" in 2018, all of them were comedy films. 

One of his most notable works as a host would be with Trans 7 "Opera Van Java" where he spent almost seven years with the crews. Along with co-host,     Parto Patrio, Azis Gagap, and Andre Taulany, the show received multiple Panasonic Gobel Awards from 2010 to 2013. Unfortunately, in 2014, Sule's contract ended when he moved to a TV show entitled "Ini Talkshow" in the Indonesian TV station, NET.

Years of experience in the TV entertainment world, he admitted that he has been away from it to pursue and expand his focus on his YouTube channel, SULE PRODUCTIONS, instead. 

At GTV's Indonesian Comedy Awards 2022, many other celebrities also attended the event. One of the winners who received the prize besides the favorite comedian category was Ayu Ting Ting who received the Favorite Celebrity Comedian award.
