Sanlorenzo, a manufacturer of premium boats with various models, announced their success in sales in mid-2021. The Italian shipbuilder managed to sell several units of the 44Alloy and 52Steel models, an achievement amid the turbulent world economic situation due to the pandemic.

The Alloy model has been recorded to have sold up to seven units. The 44.5-meter long superyacht was only introduced and delivered to the first consumers about a year ago.

The Alloy design gives a new perspective to the marine world by using an overall material of aluminum. The ship, a collaboration between Sanlorenzo and Bernardo Zuccon from Zuccon International Project studio, comes with a bold design line on the exterior.

The design allowed the team to construct, design, and build the 485 GRT three-deck yacht in a streamlined form and at the same time offer a mega-yacht solution, thanks to its ample space.

The main feature is present in the owner's cabin, designed like a private apartment of 147 square meters. This room is divided into three levels which are interconnected with indoor and outdoor areas.

The main deck consists of a 70 sqm sleeping area with an owner's suite, wardrobe, bathroom, and lobby. The 66 sqm area is located on the upper deck for an indoor studio area, sundeck, swimming pool, and relaxation area. There is a ziggurat-shaped deck that overlooks the sea and allows for total visual privacy.

The open area is the main feature and is connected to various spaces such as the cinema area, four double cabins on the lower deck, and the living room. An outdoor area of 83 square meters offers different arrangements for various events such as lunch, relaxing, watching the sunset, and partying. This possibility is wide open because there is a 102 square meter beach club consisting of a bar and gym area.

The 52Steel model was a success by selling eight units. This sale is a month after the seventh unit was sold to consumers who love yachts.

The 52Steel model comes with a length of 52 meters with five decks and a tonnage of less than 500GT. This model comes with a graceful design thanks to the smooth lines on the exterior that can hide the interior space to offer maximum comfort.

The interior of this ship is spacious because it can offer accommodation for 12 guests in five cabins consisting of a master bedroom, two double rooms, and two twin rooms.

Sanlorenzo successfully brought larger ship designs to 52Steel, especially in the shipyard designs, which gained international recognition. In the rear area, there is a swimming pool with a transparent bottom on the main deck. This allows light to enter the environment below. This oversized garage can be converted into an expandable beach area thanks to the folding terrace.

Together with the large glass surface, a solution strengthens the connection with the sea, making the 52Steel a model designed to open up a model designed to open out and fit naturally into the ocean view.

Sanlorenzo has also targeted the Indonesian market by announcing his presence last March 2021. Sanlorenzo Asia, represented by Simpson Marine, announced the sale of the SL78 model in Indonesia. In addition to this new model, a 2018 Sanlorenzo SL118 has also been sold to consumers in Indonesia.

The SL118 is the flagship model ship in the SL model. This model offers a modern design with innovative features in the world of yachts.

"I'm excited to start 2021 with the arrival of these two iconic yachts into Indonesia. Both yachts have been purchased by first time yacht owners," says Paul Whelan, Simpson Marine Indonesia Country Manager.

Indonesia has over 17,000 islands and became a well-known superyacht destination before the onset of Covid-19. Buyers are now becoming more prominent.
