The success story of the women's doubles pair Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu after winning the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics continues in Indonesia. The Indonesian badminton women's doubles received various prizes. Many people want to appreciate their struggle in making Indonesia proud on the world stage.

After our article about various gifts that Polii and Rahayu received some time ago, now there are additional gifts from both of them. PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) handed over the Honda City Hatchback RS to the two Indonesian athletes.

Located at the Headquarters of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), this event was held to coincide with the appreciation event held by PBSI for athletes, Wednesday (18/8/2021).

"I represent PP PBSI fully support and thank you for the appreciation given by Honda Indonesia to Polii and Rahayu who have successfully won gold medals for Indonesia at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. This could be a motivation for athletes to continue to be enthusiastic and consistently improve their performances," said Agung Firman Sampurna, General Chairperson of PP PBSI.

The Honda City Hatchback RS was chosen as a form of appreciation for Honda because it best describes the spirit of the athletes with its sporty character and has various features that can support daily activities safely and comfortably.

The City Hatchback RS uses a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC Engine with 121 PS of power paired to a CVT transmission and a six-speed manual. This Honda Jazz replacement model already uses LED headlights with DRL, 16-inch rims with a sporty design, remote engine start, and paddle shift. This car is priced at Rp 299 million for the CVT variant and Rp 289 million for the manual.

This gift adds to the long list of donations received by Polii and Rahayu. After Rp 5 billion from the government, gifts of houses and apartments from various parties, a plot of land in the city of birth, name preservation in a sports hall, now a vehicle for daily travel.
