Flora’s unique stunt was more than just a visual spectacle. It was a powerful statement: Indonesian women can excel in sports without abandoning their cultural identity. From Office Cubicle to Champion Longboarder
Born in North Sumatra, Flora grew up dreaming of the ocean. In 2014, she left behind a corporate job in Jakarta, embarking on a journey of self-discovery. Two years later, she settled in Canggu, Bali, where she fully immersed herself in the world of surfing.

Her dedication soon translated into global recognition. Flora’s achievements include:

Inspiring Women to Chase Their Dreams
Flora’s mission extends far beyond the waves. She volunteers as a surf coach for children in Batu Karas, ensuring that young girls have the opportunity to enter the sport. She has also led humanitarian efforts, including building 200 homes for Lombok earthquake victims in 2018.

Her message to women is clear: take the leap. “If you find something you love, just do it,” Flora says. “When you live with passion, you’re not just existing—you’re truly living.”
