From September 18 to 24, 2023, food enthusiasts in Jakarta can savor four distinctive dining experiences curated by some of Korea's most celebrated culinary talents. This exceptional culinary showcase aligns with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and South Korea, while also celebrating the growing fascination with Korean culture in Jakarta.

Korean Gastronomic Dinner by Soigné – 2 Michelin Stars

Kicking off this delectable week is a Korean Gastronomic Dinner led by Chef Jun Lee of Soigné Restaurant, a 2-star Michelin establishment in Seoul. Chef Jun Lee brings his international culinary expertise to Jakarta, blending American and European techniques with the essence of Korean cuisine. One of the standout dishes is the Seorae Escargot, a delightful fusion of Eastern and Western flavors combined with familiar Korean tastes, a beloved dish at Soigné for nearly a decade. Guests can relish a 9-course degustation menu featuring delights like Lobster with Bamboo Shoot, Abalone with Seaweed Beurre Blanc, and Charcoal Grilled Beef Sirloin, among other exquisite offerings. This exclusive dinner experience is available from September 21 to 23, 2023, at IDR 3,000,000++ per person.

Bar Takeover by ZEST – No.5 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars

For cocktail enthusiasts, the renowned mixologist Demie Kim from ZEST, ranked No.5 in Asia's 50 Best Bars, will take over BAR ON G for an exclusive bar takeover. ZEST, recognized for its sustainable practices and innovative use of seasonal Korean ingredients, offers a menu of four signature creations along with canapés. Guests can enjoy these delightful concoctions from September 21 to 23, 2023, with cocktail flights priced at IDR 750,000++ and a free-flow package available for IDR 950,000++.

Seoul-ful Afternoon Tea by Soigné – 2 Michelin Stars

Peacock Lounge at Fairmont Jakarta invites guests to indulge in a Korean-inspired Afternoon Tea crafted by pastry chef Ji Hyang Jung from Soigné, a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant in Seoul. This exceptional tea experience, available daily from September 18 to 24, 2023, features exclusive pastries and is priced at IDR 588,000++ per set, inclusive of two beverages of coffee or tea.

Korean Food Festival by Fairmont Ambassador Seoul

At Spectrum, Fairmont Jakarta's lively international buffet restaurant, guests can explore an extensive menu capturing the essence of Korea, specially curated by Chef Ted Song of Fairmont Ambassador Seoul. This gastronomic journey is available for lunch and dinner from September 18 to 24, 2023, with prices starting from IDR 408,000++ and IDR 688,000++ per person.
