Synopsis and cast
Attack on Titan sets place in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is driven to hide within three walls to protect themselves from man-eating giants, the titans. Eren Jaeger and his friends, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert lived a peaceful life on the outermost part of the walls until a Colossal Titan breached the wall.

Titans entered the city and Eren’s mother was eaten by one of them as they escaped. Since then, Eren vowed to kill every titan while trying to find the truth about them through a mysterious basement key given by his father prior.

Things are revealed to be much more brutal and bleak after they find out the truth. Humanity exists outside the walls and those inside the walls are deemed to be “Devils of Paradis Island.”

With a civilization set to eradicate the “devils”, Eren Jeager with his newfound power decided to obliterate all living beings outside the wall by starting the Rumbling–which uses the power of an army of Colossal Titans to flatten everything on its way and it’s up to his former comrades to stop him.

Voicing Eren Jeager is Yuki Kaji, known for his roles in “My Hero Academia” (2016), “Haikyuu!!” (2014), and “Seven Deadly Sins” (2014). Yui Ishikawa voiced Mikasa Ackerman, known for her roles in “Violet Evergarden” (2018), “The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent” (2021).

Attack on Titan was initially produced by Wit Studio but for season 4, it is produced by MAPPA, who is known to have animated Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie, which you can read about it more here
