THE BMW M3 AND M4 COUPE FOR SPORTS CAR ENTHUSIAST IN INDONESIA
Introducing two sports car variants of BMW
BMW Indonesia introduced two sports car variants for its fans in Indonesia. The BMW M3 and M4 Coupe carry the DNA of a BMW sports car built for the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM) event in Germany. This is the biggest touring race in Germany that has been going on since 2000 with strict requirements for race cars.
The two sports sedans have gone through an R&D process in conjunction with the BMW M4 GT3 race car. The exterior design is expressive with a control system developed for racing competitions. Bold lines blend into the vehicle body from the front to the back which makes a sporty impression on this sedan.
Each of these sports sedans has used an in-line six-cylinder engine that presents the characteristics of a sport with savage power and high engine speed. The surprising result is that this machine can produce a maximum power of 510 HP and a torque of 650 Nm. This new engine increases 48 HP compared to the engine in the old model.
A 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission assists the distribution of power with Drivelogic technology. This makes the transmission gearshift more aggressive and precise but can still be comfortable for daily use. Ease of changing gears can also be found through the paddle shifts located on the back of the steering wheel. This makes the driving feeling of these two sedans even more sporty.

Data on paper shows this machine can carry both sports sedans from 0 to 100 km per hour in 3.9 seconds. Do not miss the sporty sound that comes out of the exhaust with an electronic-flaps system that makes driving adrenaline peak. The top speed of these two sedans can reach 250 km per hour to 290 km per hour.
Both sports sedans come with BMW M-suspension Adaptive electronic suspension for comfort on the road and circuit in terms of driving comfort. The wheels use the BMW M light-alloy Double-spoke style 825 M Bi-colour Jet black for the M3 model and the BMW M light-alloy Double-spoke style 826 M Bi-colour Jet Black with Translucent Shadow for the M4 model. Both models of this sedan use 19 inches wheels at the front and 20 inches wheels at the rear. Both models come with different tire sizes at the front and rear axles – in sizes 19x9.5J at the front and 20x10.5J at the rear. Both models use tires with sizes of 275/35 R19 at the front and 285/30 R20 at the rear.
The exterior design of these two sedans looks sporty with a touch of BMW's modern design. This can be seen from the BMW kidney-grill vertical with horizontal air grille. The roof is made of lightweight carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CRFP) and has an additional rear spoiler and two BMW M exhaust tailpipes. Three new exterior paint options are also available exclusively; Sao Paulo Yellow, Toronto Red metallic, and Isle of Man Green metallic.
The interior comes with the M Carbon interior package, which is found in the interior trim and center, console to the steering wheel, and paddle shift buttons. The interior feels ergonomic to ensure the driver's focus is one hundred percent on the driving experience. The new, developed and electrically adjustable BMW M Sport Seats come with Merino fine-grain leather trim with air vents. The latest design on this seat also gives a sporty impression through BMW M color elements and single-tone leather.
Its features are quite sophisticated as a safety standard for these two sports sedans. There are features of Active Park Distance Control, Front Collision Warning with brake intervention, and Lane Departure Warning. The Parking Assistant 2.0 feature, which is equipped with a 360-degree camera as well as Reversing Assistant, is present in both models. The BMW M Drive Professional feature, which debuted here, is designed specifically for circuit driving. These include the innovative new BMW M Traction Control, which allows the wheel slip restriction function integrated with the DSC system to be adapted (via ten settings) to the driver's personal preferences and needs.

The M Drive Professional package also features the new M Traction Control function, which can be accessed in TRACK mode. Debuting in the new BMW M3 Competition Sedan and the new BMW M4 Competition Coupé, this new traction control allows the driver to set the intervention threshold for wheel slip. The iDrive menu for this system displays the 10 stages of wheel slip that the driver wants. New traction control options give drivers the ability to choose the ideal balance between race car performance and directional stability for their situation, road conditions and personal preferences. This allows them to approach the limit on the track by gradually reducing the input level of the control system.
BMW Indonesia also offers individual versions of the BMW M3 Competition and BMW M4 Coupe Competition. This version offers an M Carbon exterior package, a carbon seat package, a choice of five colors from BMW Individual Frozen Paintwork, and M compound brakes in High-gloss Red. In addition, there are alloy wheels with exclusive finishes, the new BMW M3 Competition with BMW M light-alloy Double-spoke style 825 M Bi-colour Orbit Gray matt, burnished, while the new BMW M4 Competition Coupé with BMW M light-alloy Double-spoke spoke-style 826 M Jet Black. Least, there is the BMW Individual Lights Shadow Line, a lamp display with a Dark Chrome finish on the interior lighting elements.
