TEDXLSPR 2025: WHEN IDEAS COLLIDE, MAGIC HAPPENS
How one event turned cross-industry connections into a movement for young changemakers

What happens when artists, doctors, strategists, entrepreneurs, and performers share one stage? You get TEDxLSPR 2025, an afternoon where worlds collided, ideas sparked, and collaborations were born.
Held at the Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium, LSPR Jakarta, this year’s theme, “Xploring Connections: The Dynamic of Interactions Across Industries,” was more than a catchy tagline—it was a call to action for Indonesia’s next generation of innovators to think beyond boundaries.
“TEDxLSPR isn’t just about listening—it’s about connecting,” said Maria Florensia Divina, Lead Organizer and President of the LSPR Public Speaking Club. “We wanted to show that young voices can spark real conversations that drive meaningful change.”
Her sentiment echoed throughout the event, reinforced by the presence of Dr. (H.C.) Prita Kemal Gani, Founder and CEO of LSPR Institute, who urged students to become active contributors to global progress through sustainable education and collaboration.
When Talk Becomes Transformation
Five speakers—each from wildly different fields—proved that the most groundbreaking ideas happen at the intersection of disciplines.
Entrepreneur Revi Reviansyah reminded audiences that “no one grows alone,” emphasizing collaboration as the key to lasting success.
Meanwhile, dr. Kevin Mak, a healthcare professional and content creator, broke down how social media can both heal and harm, urging his audience to use their online voice responsibly.
Strategist Ryan Dwana offered a leadership lesson that hit home for the Gen Z crowd: real leaders build trust and psychological safety, not fear.
Then, Sarra Tobing—a creative entrepreneur—challenged attendees to find courage in creativity. Her talk, “Creative Crossroads: Where Art Meets Business,” blurred the line between imagination and enterprise.
Finally, actor Bukie B. Mansyur wrapped up the event with a global perspective on storytelling, showing how acting isn’t just art—it’s a bridge between cultures.
Between sessions, the LSPR Vocal Group delivered an electrifying performance that kept the atmosphere alive, blending art and intellect seamlessly.
Beyond the Stage: Real Conversations, Real Impact
Unlike many talk events, TEDxLSPR wasn’t just about sitting and listening. Attendees engaged in two interactive networking sessions, where students and professionals discussed the future of collaboration and the role of technology in connecting industries.
One LSPR student summed it up best:
“I walked in expecting to just listen—but I left wanting to do something. Every talk made me rethink how I can apply creativity and teamwork in my future career.”
And that’s exactly what the organizers hoped for.
A Celebration of Passion and People
The event’s success was powered by over 50 dedicated volunteers, proving that collaboration doesn’t just happen on stage—it thrives behind the scenes.
As the day concluded, plaques and tokens were presented to speakers and key supporters, including special recognition for Dr. Prita Kemal Gani for her continued advocacy of youth-driven initiatives.
Speaker Sarra Tobing shared her gratitude:
“It’s inspiring to see students creating spaces for big ideas. TEDxLSPR reminded me that change starts when people from different worlds come together to talk—and listen.”
The Ripple Effect of Connection
Backed by sponsors like Good Day, YOUC1000, and Silky Girl, and amplified by official media partners Metro TV and MetroTVNews.com, TEDxLSPR 2025 proved that impactful ideas can—and should—reach far beyond the auditorium walls.
The event ended, but its message lingered: innovation doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s born in connection—in moments when passion meets purpose, and one conversation changes everything.
