President Prabowo Subianto has officially announced the formation of his cabinet, dubbed the "Merah Putih Cabinet" (Red and White Cabinet), which will serve alongside Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka during the 2024–2029 term. The announcement was made during a ceremony held at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Sunday evening.

In his opening remarks, President Prabowo expressed the significance of the cabinet's name, stating, "With the agreement among the coalition leaders, we have decided to name this cabinet the Red and White Cabinet. And I would like to announce the composition of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024–2029 term."

The cabinet comprises 48 ministers, 5 ministerial-level officials, and 59 vice ministers, representing a diverse range of expertise and backgrounds. Key positions within the cabinet include:

• Budi Gunawan – Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs
• Yusril Ihza Mahendra – Coordinating Minister for Legal, Human Rights, Immigration, and Penitentiary Affairs
• Airlangga Hartarto – Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs
• Sri Mulyani Indrawati – Minister of Finance
• Budi Gunadi Sadikin – Minister of Health
• Andi Amran Sulaiman – Minister of Agriculture
• Widiyanti Putri – Minister of Tourism

Additionally, five key officials not under the coordinating ministries were announced:

• Sanitiar Burhanuddin – Attorney General
• Muhammad Herindra – Chief of the State Intelligence Agency
• AM Putranto – Chief of Presidential Staff
• Hasan Nasbi – Chief of the Presidential Communication Office
• Teddy Indra Wijaya – Cabinet Secretary

The Vice Ministers, appointed to support the ministers in their respective duties, include:

• Lodewijk F. Paulus – Vice Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs
• Bambang Eko Suharyanto – Vice Minister of State Secretary
• Thomas AM Djiwandono – Vice Minister of Finance

The official inauguration of the Merah Putih Cabinet is scheduled for Monday morning (October 21) at the State Palace in Jakarta, with the vice ministers being sworn in later that afternoon.
