In a compelling address during the 2023 National Children's Day event in Semarang City, Central Java, Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) Bintang Puspayoga delivered an inspiring message to young minds across Indonesia. Encouraging them to continuously seek knowledge and valuable experiences, the minister emphasized the significance of self-improvement for a brighter future.

Addressing the young audience on Sunday, July 23, 2024, Minister Puspayoga passionately expressed her belief in the immense potential of every child, emphasizing that they are the nation's future. Her call to action urged children to engage in benevolent acts and strive for personal growth.

The minister stressed the vital role played by society in fostering an optimal environment for children's growth, ensuring they enjoy their rights, including education, love, protection from violence and exploitation, and the ability to actively participate in the nation's development.

Under the theme "Protected Children, Advanced Indonesia," this year's HAN commemorative events underscored the importance of safeguarding the well-being of children. Taglined as #BeraniKarenaPeduli (Courage to Care), the celebration witnessed an array of activities organized by the PPPA Ministry, encompassing caring actions, Jelajah SAPA (Friends of Women and Children), competitions, webinars, and the National Children's Forum, culminating in the awarding ceremony for child-friendly districts and cities.

Minister Puspayoga's resounding message serves as a beacon of inspiration, rallying all stakeholders to unite and uphold their collective responsibility in safeguarding and nurturing the bright minds of Indonesia's young generation.
