Royal Caribbean International, the world’s largest cruise line, has announced an exclusive 3-night celebration in collaboration with GRAMMY-winning artist Meghan Trainor. Trainor has been named the godmother of the new Utopia of the Seas, a title that brings with it the honor of bestowing safekeeping onto the ship, its crew, and future guests. The festivities are set to kick off on July 15, ahead of Utopia’s official debut in Port Canaveral, Florida, on July 19.

The 3-night cruise promises an array of exciting events, highlighted by a live performance from Trainor at Royal Caribbean’s award-winning private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. The cruise will also feature a special naming party with Trainor, her family, fans, and special guests, celebrating the ship and its future adventures.

The celebration will commence with the official naming of Utopia, attended by special guests, the ship’s crew members, media, partners, and 52 fans representing each weekend of the year. Trainor’s exclusive performance will take place in the ship’s iconic open-air AquaTheater, and select fans will have the opportunity to meet the star in person.
