L’APOGEE COURCHEVEL MARKS A DECADE OF OPULENCE WITH EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCES
Elevating Alpine Luxury: A Decade of Distinction and Culinary Delights at L’Apogée Courchevel
L’Apogée Courchevel, the crown jewel of the Oetker Collection, is set to reopen its doors on December 15, 2023, for its milestone 10th season. Nestled atop Courchevel 1850, this Masterpiece Hotel stands as a testament to luxury, design, and culinary excellence in the heart of the French Alps.
A Legacy on Rue Emile Allais
Constructed in 2013 on the site of an Olympic ski jump installed in the 1960s by the legendary Emile Allais, L’Apogée Courchevel pays homage to the champion Alpine skier. The road leading to the hotel is aptly named rue Emile Allais, a permanent reminder of his vision, including early contributions to Alpine skiing such as snow grooming and the invention of piste rescue patrollers.
Contemporary Allure at the Apex of Glamour
Having received the prestigious French Palace distinction in 2019, L’Apogée Courchevel is a five-star mountain palace celebrated for its exceptional design, amenities, quality of service, gastronomy, and prime location. The hotel's contemporary décor, a collaboration between renowned interior architects Joseph Dirand and India Mahdavi, blends plush minimalism with cozy colors and textures, creating a harmonious atmosphere that combines warmth and elegant restraint.
Culinary Delights Await
Executive Chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois and Pastry Chef Tanya Colella tantalize guests' taste buds with delicate menus at the hotel’s French restaurant, Le Comptoir de L’Apogée. This season, a new Italian pop-up restaurant named Gennaro’s, in collaboration with Michelin-starred Consultant Chef Gennaro Esposito, promises Italian classics with a Neapolitan twist and the finest ingredients.
Sunset in Style Experience
In celebration of the 10-year milestone, L’Apogée Courchevel introduces the Sunset in Style Experience. Guests are invited on a 20-minute snowcat ride to the summit of one of the area’s picturesque snowy peaks. There, they can savor the enchanting sunset, accompanied by an unforgettable apéritif of tantalizing petit-fours and cocktails crafted by Chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois. This experience pays tribute to Courchevel’s origins as a destination embracing innovation while preserving the natural magic of its history.
