"Newest family member of GSW. 2022 [is] going to be a good year for GSW. #BamBamxGSW @warriors," wrote Bambam on Twitter.

In response, NBA megastar Stephen Curry, who is Bambam a big fan of, welcomes him as a new addition to the GSW family. "Thank you BamBam! Welcome to #DubNation", reads the tweet.

As a Global Ambassador, the singer who just released his second extended-play takes on the role of promoting the Golden State Warrior on an international stage. One example would be promoting multiple GSW players to become a part of the upcoming All-Star team.

Bambam is known as a Golden State Warriors fan. Before the announcement, he had already shown his support for Stephen Curry, his idol, by asking his fans to vote for him for the All-Star team.

Currently, the top players on the standings are dominated by expected names, such as Warriors' guard Steph Curry with 4.4 million, followed by Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (4.3 million), Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant (4 million), and Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo (3.8 million).

Bambam is now inviting his and basketball fans to support other Warriors players who have shown impressive performances, such as forward Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green.

Wiggins currently has over 1.8 million fan votes, standing on number three behind Nikola Jokic from Denver Nuggets. Some debate he has turned in a career year and become a valuable teammate, that he deserves to be an All-Star.

"He is one of the best two-way players! Wiggs deserves to be an All-Star, vote Andrew Wiggins into the 2022 NBA All-Star Game," wrote Bambam on Twitter. Since being posted, the tweet has garnered over 36,000 retweets, 2,500 quote tweets, and 60,000 likes. As the NBA counts any tweet as long as it contains hashtags of the player's name and #NBAAllStar, all of those numbers are tallied.

The second player Bambam promotes is forward Draymond Green, who had taken part in the All-Star team three times previously.

"Here he is the best defense! With him, victory is ours!" wrote the singer. The numbers on this tweet are also no less impressive, with over 27,000 retweets, 1,300 quote tweets, and 50,000 likes.

Fan voting ends on January 22. By then, we'll get to see how significant Bambam's influence is on the standings.
