FINALLY YOU CAN BRING ALL-NEW NISSAN LEAF TO YOUR GARAGE
This Nissan electric car is finally offered with prices starting at Rp 649 million.
After a long time and appearing at various exhibitions in Indonesia, consumers can finally order the All-New Nissan Leaf electric car product. Nissan Indonesia opens orders starting August 2, 2021, for consumers who have been waiting for a long time. Leaf was previously present as an exhibition car and was used for R&D interests in the electric car market in Indonesia.
Interestingly, Nissan has set the price for this electric car, IDR 649 million for the one tone variant and Rp 651 million for the dual-tone variant. This product also gets a vehicle warranty for 3 years or 100,000 kilometres and a battery warranty of 8 years or 160,000 kilometres.
Don't want to miss it; for this pre-booking period, Nissan provides a home charger and installation process. Purchases in large quantities or fleets will be paired with a charging station unit at a specific office location or point.
Nissan's decision to sell Leaf in Indonesia is quite interesting. The reason is that this model has repeatedly shown itself on various occasions since 2019. It was estimated that Nissan would be the first brand to present electric cars in Indonesia. However, then Hyundai took advantage of this momentum.

Based on a study conducted by Nissan in collaboration with Frost & Sullivan in Southeast Asia at the end of 2020, 50% of non-electric vehicle owners in Indonesia said they would definitely consider electric vehicles as their next car purchase within the next 3 years.
"The presence of The All-New Nissan Leaf in Indonesia is Nissan's answer to this enthusiasm, as well as underscores Nissan's commitment to provide mobility that is more environmentally friendly and safer. This car will provide a more enjoyable driving experience," said Evensius Go, President Director, PT Nissan Motor Distributor Indonesia.
The All-New Nissan Leaf is present as a sophisticated Nissan product armed with Nissan Intelligent Mobility features. This new Nissan Leaf offers Nissan's signature Intelligent Power and Intelligent Driving technology to provide environmentally friendly vehicle products while still being fun to drive.
This car uses a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery which allows The All-New Nissan Leaf to cover a distance of 311 km on a single charge. However, this is based on the results of the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) test. Driving this car will be fun because, with a long mileage, charging can be done at home at any time. If you don't have time to recharge it at home, it can be recharged at an electric charging station or at the nearest dealer that provides a charging station.
As an electric car, the All-New Nissan Leaf offers a typical power supply of up to 150 PS with a maximum torque of 320 Nm. The power size is more than enough for a car imaged as an urban car.
The technology from Nissan Intelligent Driving in The All-New Nissan Leaf uses e-Pedal, which allows the driver to start, accelerate, decelerate, and stop using only one pedal by increasing or decreasing the pressure on the gas pedal. When the accelerator is fully released, the regenerative brakes and friction will work automatically, bringing the car to a complete stop.

Another innovative technology available on The All-New Nissan Leaf is the Nissan Safety Shield, consisting of a series of advanced safety technologies including Forward Collision Warning, Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, and Driver Alert Assist.
Regarding the exterior appearance, the latest Leaf still presents the silhouette of the previous model. The update comes from the boomerang-shaped headlights and the presence of a distinctive V motion grille. Shades of blue on the grille and rear bumper accents identify it as an electric car product.
Nissan provides the latest Leaf order period from August 2 to August 17 2021. Some dealers that can be visited for interested consumers are Nissan MT dealers. Haryono (East Jakarta), Nissan TB Simatupang (South Jakarta) and Nissan Puri Indah (West Jakarta), Nissan Roxy (Central Jakarta), Nissan Bekasi Barat (Bekasi – West Java). These dealers also provide charging station facilities for use by consumers of The All-New Nissan LEAF.
Nissan Leaf will compete in the electric car segment by challenging two Hyundai products, namely the Kona Electric and Ioniq, which also play at a price of Rp 600 million. When compared in terms of design, Leaf is fighting with Ioniq while Kona Electric is currently playing alone in the electric SUV class at a price of Rp 600 million.
