On January 24, 2025, Deputy Minister of Tourism Ni Luh Puspa visited this emerging ecotourism gem, inviting visitors to experience its serene atmosphere and thrilling attractions, promising both comfort and lasting memories.

DeLoano Glamping offers more than just a luxurious stay amidst towering pine trees and misty surroundings; it provides a perfect blend of nature and adventure. Minister Puspa, immersed in the refreshing air and scenic beauty, couldn't help but express her satisfaction with the destination. "This is the ideal spot to enjoy a peaceful weekend," she remarked, highlighting the area’s tranquil ambiance as one of its key draws.

Beyond its lush environment, DeLoano Glamping offers various attractions that appeal to nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Guests can indulge in birdwatching, engage in exciting paintball matches, unwind with a soothing spa experience, and immerse themselves in local arts. The inclusion of traditional cultural performances further enhances the destination's allure, making it a multifaceted retreat for all ages.

To make the experience even more immersive, Minister Puspa proposed the idea of collaborating with local cultural groups, particularly from nearby villages, to bring weekly performances to DeLoano Glamping. This initiative would allow guests to enjoy a rotating display of regional culture and traditions, adding to the site's dynamic appeal.

In addition to exploring DeLoano's potential, the minister noted the proximity of two nearby villages, Tinalah and Ngargosari, which have earned recognition as top 50 finalists in the Anugerah Desa Wisata (ADWI) awards in 2021 and 2022. Minister Puspa believes that the geographic location of DeLoano Glamping, nestled within the Borobudur Authority Zone, creates opportunities for creating travel packages that link DeLoano with these remarkable villages.

The Borobudur Authority (BPOB) Director, Agustin Peranginangin, also outlined exciting plans for the future of the area, including the ongoing development of access roads to improve accessibility. The Ministry of Public Works is currently working on expanding road infrastructure, with a new 1-kilometer stretch to be completed soon.

Further supporting the development, BPOB has also planned events like the Biosferun Trail Run, scheduled for October 2025, which will see 1,500 participants and provide additional tourism opportunities. This event, attracting visitors from outside Yogyakarta and Central Java, is expected to drive demand for local accommodations, benefiting nearby homestay owners and enhancing the overall economy of the surrounding tourist villages.
