BROADWAY'S JERSEY BOYS IS COMING TO JAKARTA.
Jersey Boys Jakarta 2026 comes to Taman Ismail Marzuki on June 27–28, starring Agatha Pricilla and Jeje Soekarno. Tickets from Rp 175K on Goers.
Picture a dimly lit New Jersey bar, 1960. Four working-class kids in sharp suits, hunting for a sound that would eventually sell millions of records. That story — gritty, funny, and surprisingly heartbreaking — is what Jersey Boys Jakarta 2026 is bringing to life at Teater Besar, Taman Ismail Marzuki on June 27–28.
What is Jersey Boys Jakarta 2026 ?
Jersey Boys Jakarta is the Indonesian production of the Broadway biographical musical about Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Produced by Nawanika Production in collaboration with Jakarta Art House, the show runs on June 27–28, 2026 at Teater Besar, Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Jakarta. Performances are at 14:00 and 19:30 WIB both days. Tickets are priced from Rp 175,000 (Balcony) to Rp 850,000 (Platinum) and are available on Goers.
The production marks the musical's 20th anniversary year — it premiered on Broadway in 2005, swept four Tony Awards including Best Musical in 2006, and a Grammy for Best Musical Album. It has since played in the US, UK, Australia, Japan, and Singapore. Jakarta is next.
Who is in the Jersey Boys Jakarta cast?
Two familiar faces headline the Indonesian cast. Television actress and musical theatre veteran Agatha Pricilla plays Mary Delgado, Frankie Valli's first wife. Jeje Soekarno — in what he describes as his first musical theatre role — takes on Bob Crewe, the eccentric producer and songwriter who helped engineer The Four Seasons' success.
Agatha's character, Mary, is written as someone tough and self-assured on the surface — but fragile underneath. "She doesn't back down from a fight," Agatha explained in the production notes. It's a sharp contrast from the warmth she typically brings to screen. Jeje, meanwhile, used three words to describe his character: "workaholic, kreatif, dan slay."
What songs will be performed?
The set list pulls from The Four Seasons' biggest hits. Audiences can expect "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," and "Beggin'" — songs that have outlived the era that made them. If you've ever heard "Beggin'" and assumed it was a 2000s track, here's your counterintuitive footnote: it was originally written by Bob Gaudio and Peggy Farina in 1967.
What language is Jersey Boys Jakarta performed in?
The show uses a bilingual format. Dialogue between characters is entirely in Bahasa Indonesia, making the story accessible to all audiences. The songs, however, are performed in the original English. Executive Producer Narendra Pryottama calls it a "natural linguistic combination" — and honestly, hearing "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" in anything but English would feel like a different song entirely.
Where to buy Jersey Boys Jakarta tickets
Tickets are on general sale now through Goers. Balcony seats start at Rp 175,000. The Platinum category tops out at Rp 850,000. Given TIM's Teater Besar capacity and the draw of a globally recognised title with a local cast, early booking makes sense.
