Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Resort and Golf appoints new General Manager, Widya Adi Pamudyanto. He got promoted from his last position as a Director of Sales and Marketing for the previous five years in the same resort. Talking about Sales and Marketing in the hotel industry, who doesn’t know Widya Adi Pamudyanto or Ipam? He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic study but found his passion as a salesperson. 

He started his career as a sales in airlines in 2000. Learning about networking and handling guests makes him confident to be a Sales Manager in one of the 4-star international hotels in Jakarta. Due to his dedication and hard work, he was promoted from Sales Manager to Senior Sales Manager and Assistant Director of Sales. Ipam spread his wings and got enabled in the hotel brand to become a Director of Sales for the Asia Pacific based in Singapore. Worked for two years in Singapore, making him widen his networking and bringing him back to Jakarta to become an executive assistant manager and then General Manager for a 4-star international chain hotel.

He joined Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Resort and Golf in 2015 as pre-opening Director of Sales and Marketing, led a team of 12 persons, and made the hotel known as the best hotel in Ciawi and Bogor area. He loves challenges and the idea, “From nothing become something, no one becomes someone.” Discipline, learning many new things, and keeping updating are his keys to success. As a General Manager of Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Resort and Golf, he will lead his team and this hotel to become more extensive and successful in revenue, branding, and positioning as a 5-star hotel in Bogor. He wants to become a Hotel CEO and a consultant during his retirement in the next five years.
