The presence of electrified vehicles in the country this year is quite crowded and massive. Almost all manufacturers are competing to launch their newest models with alternative power, both hybrid and electric. One that is quite active in presenting electric vehicles in Indonesia is Porsche, which recently introduced the Taycan Cross Turismo.

The presence of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo also completes the range of electric models owned by the manufacturer and fills the luxury crossover segment in Indonesia. Standing based on the Porsche Mission E Turismo Concept, the Taycan Cross Turismo offers an attractive package that is slick to take on the road and an adventure ride with light off-road terrain.

The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo has two electric motors powered by a 93.4 kWh battery and drives all four wheels. In addition, it also has a design with a ground clearance of 148mm higher than the Porsche Taycan sedan with a height of 128mm. It is claimed to accommodate the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo brought to uneven non-asphalt terrain. The manufacturer also added a choice of Gravel driving mode for use when passing through off-road terrain. Porsche also provides an upgraded off-road package.

“We are delighted to be able to bring the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo to Indonesia, an electric vehicle that is not only fun to use on the road but can also be taken for adventure activities. The presence of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo also completes the distinctive range of electric vehicles from Porsche for our consumers in Indonesia, said Jason Broome, Managing Director of Eurokars Group.

PT Eurokars Artha Utama as the agent holding the Porsche brand in Indonesia, presents the Taycan Cross Turismo with four variants, namely the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo, Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo, and Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo. Porsche Indonesia has priced the Taycan Cross Turismo model from IDR 3.2 billion (off the road) for the lowest variant, the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo.

Inside, the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo also offers a larger payload capacity than the saloon model. On paper, the Taycan Cross Turismo has a cabin volume of 1,200 litres with more headroom and legroom than the sedan version. This is also called to accommodate the comfort of cabin occupants when travelling long distances with the Taycan Cross Turismo.

In addition, the manufacturer also launched several supporting accessories such as a roof box produced by Porsche Design and brackets for bicycles transporting Porsche e-bikes at the rear of the vehicle.
