Indonesian Sean Gelael and the WRT Team won a silver medal as the second team to cross the finish line at the FIA World Endurance Championship 2022 “1000 Miles of Sebring”. The competition ran for eight hours in Florida, U.S., on Friday, March 18, 2022.

Gelael, Rene Rast, and Robin Frinjs did not, however, win the medal easily. The WRT car was disrupted by the harsh heat of Florida, and a storm circled the circuit. In addition, a Toyota racer, Jose Maria Lopez, was involved in an accident. Because the problems were severe enough, Race Director Eduardo Freitas decided to call a halt to the race.

As a result, United Autosports USA came on top as the first winner, while Gelael and WRT Team took the second position. The third is team WRT #41, sponsored by Realteam.
