The French Riviera’s creative heritage and the artists who have spent time in the neighbouring village of Saint-Paul de Vence — names like Picasso, Braque and Cocteau — were the inspiration behind Agnès Sandahl’s rich colour palette employed across the exhibition, and one that perfectly reflects the hotel’s Provencal ambience. Warm hues combining nuances of Terracotta with oranges evoking solar luminosity are blended throughout with a distinctive touch of modernity.

Agnès Sandahl’s paintings and large-scale ceramic plates intermingle in a dialogue of dazzling colours that invite the viewer into the artist’s abstract universe as they meander the hotel’s 100-square-metre Art Gallery.

Guests will also be able to enjoy the artist’s ceramic works while dining at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant Le Saint-Martin, where a collection of entirely handmade, one-of-a-kind plates decorate the tables.
