Selena Gomez recently collaborated with La’Mariette to create a brand new swimwear collection.

The collection was launched back on July 3rd, 2021. They have six swimwear styles: two tops, two bottoms, a one-piece, and a sarong.

All of the swimwear was inspired by Selena Gomez’s Aura. The swimwear has a lot of bright colors like purple, red, and green.

“The Aura print is inspired by Selena, her aura shines through in everything she does and we want everyone else to feel that sort of transformative feeling of being their most authentic self,” explained La’Mariette co-founder Morgan Brutocao in a press release. “Selena’s confidence is unmatched and being able to design a print with her which embodies that is so rewarding.”

“It was really fun for us to play around with creating swimsuits because Theresa, Morgan, and I love being outside so much,” Selena said in a press release, referring to La Mariette's founders, Theresa Mingus and Morgan Brutocao. “After going through swatches, my favorite color was purple, I wanted to stay away from colors I’m used to like red and white. Purple felt different for me and we added pops of color like green and neons here and there, it really becomes your own suit however you wear it.”

Be sure to check it out cause we live in Indonesia, where we have an all-year summer. The prices for these swimwear ranges from $49 to $119, so please do save some of your money!

You could have fun while staying at home by sunbathing in your own garden. Please stay safe and keep your health up.

But why do we need to sunbathe? Sunlight contains UVB, which induces the skin to synthesize vitamin D3. Healthy individuals have seasonal variations in their vitamin D levels.

Lower vitamin D levels have been associated with increased risk for several types of cancer, heart disease, and bone disease. Not only that, but Vitamin D  deficiency may also play a role in autoimmune diseases.
